So i just picked up a new 2012 pastel lesser, and when i was at the breeders house he seemed pretty chill but was really scarred and wouldn't come out of his ball. So i bring him home, and leave him alone for about 24 hours and decided to see if he was hungry he instantly took a hopper mouse and slammed him down. The next day i opened his tub to just check on him and he struck at the side of the tub, i figured no big deal u know probably just still in "food mode" and i'll just let him be. Today i decided to pick him up for the first time sense thrusday when i brought him home as i picked up his hide i think he hit the side of the hide but can't b sure cuz i couldn't see it, so i grabbed him and held him for about 30 minutes and i could tell he was really on edge the whole time and i was just waiting for him to nail me, but it never came. Should i just leave him alone for a week and just hang out and get use to his new home????? Or should i keep trying to holding him??? I guess i just got lucky cuz my spider was a dream to handle from the day i brought her home and she has never even hissed at me.
