    FT start
Well I decided to start all three of mine on frozen thawed today. Three strikes three wraps. When I came upstairs two were still wrapped my female pastel had let go and was roaming so I'm hoping that she goes after it. Should I heat it back up afterwards since she did wrap if she doesn't go after it and introduce it again? Or wait? Thanks everybody.

Update: I just went down and peeked in and all 3 rats have disappeared. I am so happy that I can get frozen now. I guess I was a little bit nervous when she decided to roam the tank. Now I just hope my new one that I will be getting this week will be as easy.

I would only do one of two things. First, leave it. Second, if it has not been thawed more than an hour to an hour and a half you could refreeze it (once) if you want to save it.

If you thawed it by leaving it out or leaving it in the refrigerator you should just leave it and see if the snake decides to eat it. You should not try to save one thawed like this. It will be nasty if you try to refreeze it and use it again.

Thank you. The way I was told to do it was put them in a baggie and put it in hot water for 30 to 45 mins. Like I said I just went down to check on them a little while ago and all the rats were gone.

Here are 2 of them before they had their first FT.

    Male pastel just shed.

Most of mine are on F/T now and anymore I just toss the rat into the enclosure and they are gone in the morning :) I have onewho wont eat if he thinks I am watching so I just add a well thawed and heated rat and walk away gone in the morning almost every time:D
