    ...what would be the smallest size water bowl ( say maybe diameter ) you would use ???

    I start with 3 inch water dishes then move up to 6 Inch .

    All depends... If you have a snake that likes to soak then a big one. Otherwise a decent sized bowl is all that is really necessary IMO

    Since I started using deli cups I use 16 oz for adults and sub adults and 2 oz for babies
