    Good Lesser?
I'm looking at possibly purchasing a lesser male. I saw this add and it's a good price for a lesser in my opinion. Now...are they good lessers? I'm new to this gene so I'm not sure if they are worth buying

They aren't the best I've ever seen, but worth serious consideration

They are decent looking Lessers. Realy it is up to you. You are the one paying for, and keeping them. If You like them, then go for it.

I've looked at that same ad a couple times myself. I think they are good looking lessers, what really matters is what you think of them, it's your time and money.

I think they are pretty good looking lessers. The father (sire) is definitely a very nice looking lesser and I feel there is a pretty good chance they could end up looking like him when they get older. For some balls there is a big change when they mature. For example, bumblebees are yellow as a hatchlings, however as they age they could brown out a lot. Also take a look at hatchling calicos, they barely show any white as hatchlings but as they mature their color comes in and there is a big difference. The father is very nice looking and I feel that is a good indication they too will turn out pretty good looking. Before I purchase any ball python, I check on the parents. Good looking parents typically make good looking kids.

If I were you and you are dead set on purchasing one of those lessers, i'd get the top middle one, he's got a very nice pattern! The one to the right of him looks pretty good too.

    I like him!

Its really debatable for what makes a good lesser. It really depends on what your looking for.
Some people like busy patterns, where some people like reduced patterns, some people look for solid striping, some people like high contrast and some people feel the more faded the lesser, the better.

Really, with this morph you can't go wrong.. I like high contrast which these guys are.

Those are the exact two I was debating between. I like the nice fading on the upper right one, but I like the striping on the top middle. Decisions decisions. I'm going to an expo this upcoming Sunday (not today...next Sunday) and if I don't find another I like more, I'll inquire about these guys.
