Got my self an amazing telescope!
Hey all so the bumblebee wasnt the only thing I got yesterday :P

I also picked up a telescope I have wanted.

Its a 10" "GO-TO" Dobsonian telescope. So it has motors on the base and the one arm. On the hand held device I can scroll through I want to look at hit enter and my telescope will move and point right at it. I can also lock onto the object because as the earth rotates the things you are looking at in your eye piece will constantly move out of view so with the lock on feature I can have my telescope track the object and keep it in the eyepiece.

The thing is a monster! I am 6 foot tall and the tube goes half way up my chest without it being on the stand. The end is wide enough (10") That I could easily fit my head in it lol. On the stand it comes up to my chin!

Anyways I didnt get to use it because it was cloudy last night but hopefully it wont be tonight!!

I also got a NEXIMAGE5 which is a 5MP camera I can put in my telescope to take pictures of what I am looking at! So expect some sweet shots!

Here are some pictures I took :

Well I finally get to use it tonight. Its 100% clear skies and nice and dark. Well atleast from my apartment balcony in a city. Quite a bit of light pollution so not the greatest viewing but I live on the outskirts so it shouldnt be too too bad.

Unfortunately I wont get to use the GO TO feature because the freekin telescope doesnt come with a wall cord to power the motors only a car lighter one. So I have one on the way!

I am hoping to get a glimpse of the Andromeda galaxy tonight. that would make me happy :D

haha yah its not as big as the one i wanted but it has way more features :P

Anyways like I said in the post I got the Celestron NEXIMAGE 5. Which is a camera I can put in the eye piece of my telescope so I can take pictures. If that fails I have a camera I can put up to the eyepiece and take a picture through it with my handheld camera.

Here are some Example photos taken with my telescope model from the Orion website :
