    Is this a lock?
    Well, I've owned and researched ball pythons for three years now, but this is my first time breeding them. This looks like a lock to me, but is it? :please:

    Even if I doubted ya'll, they locked up again after that one. :D Just hoping they finish before feeding day.

    Ralph Davis pointed out something cool in one of his videos regarding locks. He showed a male with a completely obvious "lock", but when he lifted the tail to see hemipenes, they weren't even out. I don't know why he would "lock" but not actually copulate. Maybe it's part of the courtship. Either way they're obviously interested :gj:!

    Now I'm paranoid, lol. :oops: But they "locked" again a few hours ago so hopefully they haven't just been cuddling!
