    Got what was advertised as a red tail in a local paper for free but when he arived with it i new it was not a redtail but it is a very cool boa and is a great mood about him


    ANY IDEA ON THE HE MIGHT BE??

    Looks like it could be a hypo BCI, which people call a red tail but it's not a "true" RTB.

    It could also very well be a Hogg Island. But I'm very green with ID-ing boas still.

    There are plenty of morphs out there, hypo/salmon tend to look light like this. But the more orangy coloring and the speckling, as well as the head, make it look like it could be a Hogg Island when I looked them up.

    I say hypo Colombian, I'm not seeing much Hog Island in this one (Hog with one "g", not two)

    I'd go with a hypo Colombian as well. No Hog in that boy.

    Depending on the size of the animal in question I could see it being a B.C. Sabogae or Pearl Island Boa, but if he is over 4 ft long that is highly unlikely. It does look like he is a Hypo Columbian Common Boa.

    hes about 3 ft little less but cool guy im gonna see about geting him into a vet but it will be monday before i can call just to have him/her looked over no concerns or any thing yet it is just for a look over
