    Under Substrate ? Bare Glass..?
For those who use wood mulch like Cypress Mulch or Aspen for substrate. Do you put anything under it? We put some in our BP's tank and within a minute she moved it to where the bare glass was showing? Does this matter? As long as it wont harm her we're fine with it. I have it about 3/4 inch deep, we use an UTH and a heat bulb.

As long as the temperature directly on the glass stays under 95 then you're fine.
Is your uth plugged into a thermostat?

That is how I have had my enclosures set up for about 6 months now. The snakes like to move the substrate over the Flexwatt out of the way and lay directly on the glass. So just make sure your glass temp doesnt get to hot and you should be fine :P
