    Questions about kinking
So we had two seperate clutches of snakes from completely different parents that had some kinking this year. Ive never had this happen before so I was wondering what could cause this.

Out of the first clutch we had a pastel with a slight spinal kink. not too noticeable. Also had a male lesser with a big hump.

The worst of all of them was from a different clutch that only ended up with one viable egg. It was a female lesser with a severe kink near her tail. Here she is.

I would like to note that she can straighten her tail but I thought this picture best illustrated the kink.

It was probably an incubation error since the kinked snakes are from different clutches.
Do any of them share a parent?

No shared parents. This incubator has been used for 4 years with no other kinked snakes. Not sure why it would happen all the sudden.

No heat spikes, no cooling periods, everything went normal.
