How long should I leave my males with my females?
Last night I went ahead and placed two of my males in two females cages. I checked them this morning, and they were just laying there and not doing anything. I just checked them about two hours ago and they were locked up. How long does this process usually last? When should I remove the males from the females cages?

I give my males a day or two with the females then a few days off before putting them back, depends on what kind of activity I'm seeing in the tub though.

I plan to do 3 in 4 out. And offer food on the out days.

3 days in, unless you see a lock. Locks can last over 24 hours--try not to disturb them during this time. I remove the male once they separate, and give him a couple of days off.
