    Forest Floor Bedding ?
Picked some of this up from Petsmart.. Forest Floor Cypress Mulch from Zoo Med. Can I use this right out of the bag or should I bake it or anything first?

I really like it. I Use it for my blood, bp, and brb. I use it right out of the bag in my glass tanks. I did let it sit out a bit before putting it in my blood's temporary tub. To let it dry a bit I pour it in a travel tub and stir it every few hours for a few days. I didn't bake it because I didn't want it dry.

I would say as long as you are putting it in a cage that does not hold humidity extremely well you should be able to pour it right in.

I've used that for a BRB straight from the bag to the tub. Works great, holds humidity super well.
