    Normal male at 950 grams?
Hey guys, I just made a trade, my burm(which I got for $60) for an "adult female ball python" which wound up being a 950gram male Ball python(I popped hemes and probed 7 scales), and a juvy tegu. So I decided to make the trade anyway, and flip the ball python. How much is an almost 1000 gram male normal worth anyway? I never even see adult normals get sold. If it doesnt make me at least $100 I think Ill keep him and pair him to a single or double codom in the future. I tried to find pricing online, but came up with blanks. Anyone know what these guys go for?

sorry about the male, to be honest you will be lucky if you can sell him for $50, the truth is most people dont want a male normal. I would see if you can sell him to someone who wants a ball python as a pet.

male normals are pets, it makes no sense to breed a normal male to any morph female, IMO.
A nice pastel male cost what, $75 at most?

I sold one once for $80 with 20gal tank and all but the buyer wanted it as a "show" pet, go figure, didn't think about it twice and sold him. I would gake the first $40 offer u get for that guy and send him on his way.

Noted. Ive been wanting a male bumblebee to start out with anyway. Male normal really might just be a waste of space @_@

IMHO its not a waste of space if you like him. I have my PH albino female(8 years old) that will be a breeder if i ever hatch out a male albino black pastel(only breeder her once to see if she proves out)but till then she is a pet and she is my favorite snake in my collection. shes the only ball with a enclosure instead of a tub.

I mean, he is pretty and his eyes are the most golden ive seen of any BP, but I dont think ive heard of any morphs that were JUST in the eyes. he's alright, but I just sold my two original normals. I think im gonna go just for morphs at this point.
