    Bad shed/soaking problem
Hey guys! My ball had a horrible shed even though i kept humidity between 65 and 70% my question is the only hope for the remaining shed coming off is soaking...its been 5 days and theres still some skin left on him.. I was saoking him and he was freaking out and trying his hardest to get the heck outta there..is that normal? and should i keep him in there or what?

    The Serpent Merchant
Soaking is extremely stressful for a snake. Imagine if some giant grabbed you and dropped you in the middle of the ocean. There are other ways to deal with stuck shed. One way is to take a towel and make it damp with lukewarm water. Then have your snake slither through while you apply some lite pressure.

As long as there aren't any pieces that make a ring around your snakes body a few pieces of stuck shed aren't the worst thing. Make sure that your husbandry is spot on and bump up the humidity a little next time he sheds.
