    a bit wrinkly
I posted the other day that my first ball (pastel male) had a bed shed. I gave him a little soak and held him with a warm wash cloth and got most of it off, thank goodness. As I was handling him he seemed to be just a tad wrinkly. The way I understand it is that this is a hydration issue? His water dish was a bit high so I swapped it out for a little tupperware thing that he can reach easier. Is this right? Any other insight? Thanks everyone!

The wrinkles could be stuck shed or he could be dehydrated. What is your setup like? Temps and humidity? Be careful if the Tupperware dish for water. They tend not to be heavy enough and the snakes will tip them over. I use the crock dog dishes from Wal-Mart that are under $2. They work perfect. You could mist his enclosure to bump up the humidity. Also, if you could get a picture it might help.

He could also be underweight. Make sure you're feeding him the right size of mouse/rat often enough!
