How long have you owned a BP?

How long have you owned a Ball Python??

I've owned mine for a little over one year.

I've had my adult male for about 2 years.

Got my first BP in spring of '95. I think I got the second in 1998 and the third in 2002, but those are a little fuzzy for me. Current ones have all been acquired since Dec 2003, when I was allowed to have a snake in the house again. :)

What do you mean??

After the second and third ball pythons became permanent escapees (one definitely not my fault, one sorta my fault for not sufficiently supervising someone else), I was told I was a hazard to ball pythons and could possibly be permanently responsible for the species' extinction and no, no, no, I couldn't have another. But then I was given one for my birthday a few months ago as apparently I'd been determined no longer a threat to the entire species.

So now I'm making up for lost time. :)

I've had Atreyu for 18 months. Feels like I've had him forever tho. Bastian I've had for 8 months. :)

I have had Ozzy for 3 mos.
