Need help in ID Morph and a Few questions

So I bought a Leopard gecko for my GF, I dont know exactly if I paid to much for this gal and barley know how old she is. Anyone want to help me out? She's 35 grams, suppose to be hypo and carrot tail or het carrot tail(paid $40). What ever that means? If you know where I can learn a good amount of stuff on morphs drop a link im more then willing to learn something. I have her in my tub(32QT) with a cool side of 75-80 warm side at 88-92. three hides one being a humid hide. 1 small shallow dish 1 bowl for calcium but im wondering if im dumping my money into this dish for nothing or if I should just dust crickets in it? am i missing something?

I dont care what she is but it will help to determine a mate for her in the future. She honestly has stole my heart. Im extremely pissed that no one on BP.net has really opened my eyes to how awesome Leo's are! lol

Super hypo carrot tail baldy, I keep a calcium dish in all my cages, as well as dust the mealworms with it. You dont need a expensive fancy dish. A lid to a milk jug or any lid will work. Here is a pretty straight forward link to some popular gecko morphs.

Yep what they said SHTCTB. Lol. Carrot tail is a line breed gene. It is passed on in a recessive fashion. Here is a link to get you started on basic Leo genetics.

I just got into geckos early this year and I love them. They are every bit as interesting to me as bps but combos are even harder to figure out when they hatch lol.

What makes her a carrot tail? I have what I believe is a hypo tangerine that looks almost just like her except hes got a few spots.

I'm pretty sure the carrot tail part refers to the fact that they have a brighter orange area at the base of the tail. That one that the OP has does in fact have some orange at the base of the tail, while yours H.O.f.R. has no orange, so there is no carrot tail there. My guy is a SHTCT as well, but he lost his tail when he was a little one and so his tail is a beautiful orange, See:

His tail is an obvious orange and it is really bright when he is not in shed. That is what a carrot tail is, but because he lost his tail I can't really use him as a standard example, they always grow back much different from the original. Likely when they first got him it wasn't anything like this, probably more white than orange but there must have been some there on it. And I think that the fact that his tail was missing for so long is why they still had him at the pet shop, he was "damaged goods"...
