I just thought I'd post to see who of you out there keeps high gold ball pythons.

I gots one! And I know Will does too!

Mine is named Goldy, she is CB (CBB?) She is about 33 inches now, and real thick. She never really looked like a baby, witha skinny neck and all. Ever since she was about 2 months old she's been as thickly proportioned as an adult. She has some sweet striping down her back too. She's also really yellow, hence high gold. Around her stomach where the pattern meshes with the white belly scales, she has a cool area of orange coloring.

Goldy is my favorite. She eats well, sometimes, she has a real sweet personality, and is super cute.

You all need to get a high gold, I love mine. She's on my neck right now...

    Iclude your pics--

Um....NERD maybe. Price for a good high gold female would be high, don't know about males.

when i bought hydra, she was very dull and not vibrant at all. She was 18 inches and very much unerweight. Now after about 2 months, she is 21.5 inches and right on weight, after a few sheds she is so vibrant and is very gold. She was never gold before until now. I wasn't told she was a high gold, but she is about as vibrant as that pic up there now.

Rex is pure gold and black. No brown to be found. (No digital camera :( )

I paid a local $50. He had 2 other bp's for sale, both bigger, both more normal colored. I had to "go for the gold". Rex eats like a pig, has never struck or even faked it.

Awesome snake. John, Goldy is gorgeous.

John, there was a guy named Shawn who worked at the Pet Quarters in Brunswick who had about 30 reptiles. The store didn't sell herps, but Shawn did on the side. Had a handful of BP's, a few burms, some corns, a hog nose, a few BCI's.

He recently moved to California, or I'd put you in touch.

I've talked with that guy on the phone once. I saw an add of his. He seemed real pro, lotta herps.
