    Bad shed and no poop
So I just went in to the reptile room and noticed that my BP has shed for the first time and I was super stoked until I took a closer look. He is shedding in pieces and still has quite a bit stuck to him. Luckily it appears that his eye caps did come off. I read a sticky about helping out with the shed. I was going to give him until this evening or tomorrow and see how he does and then do a soak for him. I think the problem is that I didnt bump his humidity high enough during the shed. Ive also been waiting for him to poop which he did but it was the absolutely tiniest poop ever. We have fed him 3 times so far and he is a little over 100 grams. Just seeing if there is anything else I can/should do and any advice or insight to the poop situation. Thanks a bunch!

How high did you get the humidity?

When BP's are young they use almost all of their food for growing. Chances are that's all that was left.

I think I barely had it above 60%. Im still new to BPs and didnt remember to bump the humidity that high. I have corns that Ive kept for a while that never had issues without their humidity getting up so high. Bad on my end :tears:. Thats what I thought about the poop based on what I read just not too sure. Thanks for the response.

A bad shed isn't the end of the world, they happen to the best of us. Just remember to get the humidity up a little higher next time and you shouldn't have any issues.
