    cool snake, was that a live mouse? i just switched samson to baby rats and i have to kill them first, but mice i feed live, they can not cause as much damage as a rat but they can still get a lucky scratch or bite in...

    Yah I'm about to switch to rats in a couple of months, and I think I will go with prekilled with those.

    same here, I really want to order some frozen rats but the shipping rates always seem so daunting. I only have one snake and I don't want 50 small rats if the snake outgrows them only after eating a few dozen. I don't know if that's a real problem or not

    yes, it is live. i was a little worried because he had been fasting...the last one tried to bite him when he wouldn't eat, so my husband had to get it out. we keep a close eye on him when he eats. we have a friend that used to raise snakes, corns, boas, and balls. he said that if we decided to go to prekilled, and had any problems, he would help. i don't want Sixx getting hurt.

    thanks, he is my buddy....for someone who didn't want him in my house, i have to get him out the most.
