    Proper Etiquette
So I had a yb x normal clutch hatch out. Everyone looked good, until they shed out. It looks like one of my yb males is a stubby. Its barely noticable, but its there. Im on the fence about what to do. Would you guys consider him a pet only? Or is it so slight you wouldnt be worried? (Both parents have bred before without any stubs or kinks)

I was also wondering is it worth mentioning when selling the sibs? Am I overreacting? Id appreciate your thoughts on this.

Here is a picture of the little guy.

...and heres a pic with a sib so you can see the tail difference better. Theres no kink in the tail, he was just holding it that way.

Sorry I can't help, I'd likely be asking the same thing if I hatched him! I reckon when in doubt it's always better to disclose for peace of mind. He's a beauty anyway, bet you have no problem selling him regardless.

Ok, so I have never bred before. But when I looked at the first pic of him alone, I couldn't see anything wrong.

Exactly, it's barel noticeable. That's one of the reasons I'm not 100% sure how to handle it. If it was an obvious kink or other issue I wouldn't have to ask how to handle it.

Its too horrendous to be honest.
But I'll make the sacrifice... send him to me and I'll bare the burden! Lol

Hes gorgeous. I don't think anyone would mind him at all.

Omg, genius idea! Breed him to another stubby tailed snake and just keep line breeding for the stubby trait until finally we have snakes that are just cute little heads with a tiny little tail sticking off.....they'll be like land-tadpoles. They'll be so cute and we'll make a fortune on them bc they're "designer!"
hmm....I think it may be time for bed....

Honestly I think he's fine to breed and I see no reason to say anything as I see nothing wrong with him. I would buy and breed him and think nothing of it, with or without disclosure- which imo isn't really necessary.

    Cute worm though!

Look, some males are just longer than others. I don't understand why everybody is so fixated on size. Before you give the poor guy a complex just let it go.

Actually, I do not see it as a developmental anomoly, but just an individual characteristic. I wouldn't worry about it unless you should repeat the pairing and see the same issue. At that time you could always go back and notify whoever purchased it that there is a 50% possibility it may be genetic. Beautiful animal BTW.
