    Looking to stud my male
Not sure how this works, but was told by a couple of pet stores to try and stud my tegu out. They said it would help with his behavior. he is about 3 yrs old, nice thick tail and not sure where to go from here. Any advice or knowledge would be apreciated.

I think your pet stores are full of it. Just an opinion but tegus are not like dogs, and for the record, breeding a dog doesn't do anything for it's behavior either. Breeding my tegu never changed his behavior in any way at all. Of course, he was nice before and stayed nice after.

If you want some advice on your tegu's behavior instead, you could make a thread asking for advice on that specifically. You should include all the details like what kind of tegu it is, how old it is, what kind of cage and substrate, what you feed him and how often, what temputure you keep him at, etc. Then we could help you out maybe.
