    Pastel may have resp infection?
I've got a 600 gram female pastel that when excited produces a high pitched but not very loud whistle. There is no mucus anywhere on her or on the enclosure. She eats like a horse and is growing like crazy. My roommate says she think its fine. (She works with animals for a living). I thought perhaps a scale failed to shed in her nostril but dont see anything. She seems perfectly healthy except for her whistle. Any thoughts? Thanks everyone!!

I would increase the cage temps by a degree or two, and keep a close eye out for other signs of RI.
