Trying to switch from live to f/t

Okay, so as the title says, today I am going to try and switch my ball from live to f/t. Any tips? He's been live from day one, and the rats keep trying to bite him, and I don't enjoy having to get the rodent from the nose with tongs each feeding.

You can try feeding from tongs to get him use to eating from tongs. From there I would switch to prekilled from the tongs, and lastly try for f/t. Just have patience and try not to offer food constantly to stress the animal out.
