My rats like they have.bugs or something doesn't seem to be all of them but I was just wondering do Yall see this or should I dust them with something? I don't see fleas or anything could it be dry skin.

    What do you feed them?

Could be lice. I had my vet confirm (because they are very small and hard to see) and they'll scratch until their fur falls out. They gave me a treatment and it worked like a charm.

How long have they been scratching? Have you changed anything about their set up or feed?

It could be an allergy or parasites (mites or lice)

I keep a few as pets... and since they are super well trained, I dog shampoo them. (Which they hate, but it does them good). Rats regularly groom themselves, but I think taking them to a vet probably is safer. Sick animals don't make good breeders.
