    ? about eggs
Im on day 54 now and last night i went and candled the eggs just to see if there was still movement in them(there is)but in few of them it looks like the baby are really small still, you can see a little shadow but its not filling up the egg. Thought by this point the snakes would be taking up more room. Anyone know whats going on?

What temperature are you incubating the eggs at? Cooler temps will result in slower development.

i candled mine last night day 46 @ 89F with one flashlight the eggs looked almost empty and couldnt see any pattern. i then tried a different light, a brighter whiter light and could see that the egg was almost full and was able to easily tell the spiders/bees from the pastels/normals.

obviously your situation might be different than mine but it cant hurt to try a different light. the light that showed me everything was the "tactical" light off my HD pistol. its insanely bright.

Be patient. They grow at their own pace. If you are concerned that they are small, then don't cut. Let the first one pip, then if you want cut the rest. Or, you could just let them hatch on their own.

Im going to let them pip on their own, i seen too many people cut their eggs on here and their babies die, that got me a little scared to cut. I will cut if it takes them too long to pip them self.
