No you shouldn't feed any of your pets wild animals/insects...they're riddled with parasites and disease.

Squire some cockroaches. Dubia are a good species and you can cultivate them for cheap and have plenty of food! Or if you only have one T then go buy a cricket every week from petsmart they are .11 cents. Plus the insects from outside could have pesticides on them that will kill your T.
