Axanthic spider or mystic potion?

I am getting into breeding bps and have some pastels and cinnis and a black pastel female. I am getting a spinner male to breed to these. I am thinking of getting a pair to make some nicer morphs and axanthic spiders and mystic potions have caught my eye. I can't afford to get the snakes themselves so i plan to breed them. I don't know whether to get a spider het ax and a normal het ax or a mojave and a mystic. I don't have the room to do both so want to know what anyone thinks about which is the better route to go and why. Yes, I realize axanthic is a recessive gene lol. Thanks ahead of time!!

I am not a huge fan of Ax so I am gonna say mystic potion!

it's all in what you like. I like the mystic potion or purple passions myself. ( same thing ) here is a pic of a purple passion so if you saw only the mystic potion you can see the purple passion too. instead of mystic and mojave, it's phantom and mojave. good luck in which way you go, don

I saw a mystic potion at Garrick's this year and was dumbfounded how awesome it was. But adding this purple is even better. That is a beauty Don.

I agree purple passions are even cooler but can't afford the phantom gene lol. I'm not a huge fan of normal axanthics but i love them with the added spider or pin gene. soo cool.

Mojave female for around $300, and a phantom male for $600. Or you can buy the female mojave now, raise her up, then buy a male phantom/mystic later to raise up so they can both be ready to breed. Phantom and mystic males should come down in price by then.

Alternately, you can get an axanthic female this year for ~500 - 700. Raise them up. Then buy a male spider het ax for probably $500 - 700 next year :gj:. Or you can buy a het axanthic female. They should go for pretty cheap these days. Maybe $150 - $200 I imagine.

I can get an adult spider het ax male for 400. i can get a ax female and a het ax female for 400ish. phantams going for 1000 around here while mystics 550ish.
