I got back about 10am this morning from a week vacation to IL to visit with Ironhead and his family. Had a great time while I was out there, tho Amtrak let me down for the first time in 4 years. Had a hell of a time gettin on the train cause the Amtrak hadn't sent my ticket to my house or to the conductor like they were supposed to, so after staying up for 36 hours (work mostly, then packing) I had to stay up for an additional 5 hours till we got to Pittsburgh to get my ticket all straightened out. Then on my return trip I got to the station at 4:30am (train was supposed to leave at 4:57am) and the train didn't show up till after 7:30am.

Anyways, I had a great time out there and I'll be moving out that way in about a month :). Just wanted to check back in with everyone on here, lettin u know I'm alive and kicking. Sorry for the outtage in the chatroom while I was gone but two of the pine trees in my front yard wore thru the electrical wire runnin to my house and blew a transformer settin the trees on fire. Led4urhead was good enough to stop by my house tho and get it all up and running once the power was back on again.

Glad you had fun, Chris! How did the job search go? I guess the other part of your trip was quite successful. ;)
