    STRANGE......
Lil' girl just got into town today and she was cold and sluggish with her metabolism having been knocked down because of it. Got a quick pic as she settled in for her acclimation having warmed up some in my hands. Quickly regaining her senses she gave me a quick peck on the wrist as I set her (maybe too gently) down :P

Thanks - hope the chilly trip didn't do her any lasting harm. Trust me I was as pissed as she was.

I hope shes OK too....Bloods are very susceptible to RIs if they get too cold.

That is what I am worried she might develop. I can hope that since the transit was only 24 hrs and started in Miami that her chilly adventure and the settling of the heat pack away from her in the container was significantly less. Still she was so lethargic when she arrived her strike attempts was pitiful - then as she warmed up her eyes were jerking periodically (like a twitch every 15 seconds or so). That quickly abated, which is good because it was really freaking me out. I'll be watching for that elevated head maneuver.

I think she'll be fine....but definitely keep an eye out for open mouth breathing, wheezing, and/or mucus come from the nostrils. RIs hit hard and fast with Bloods.

Not too much - like accidentally grazing yourself with a few xacto knives - very fast sting. Managed to not pull away but I was kind of surprised she hadn't hit before that point so i was almost expecting it. Given that sort of transit I'd be kinda pissed too. Her teeth are very tiny but she has some in the lower jaw I hadn't known existed - made a sort of W or VV pattern. It was pretty cool to see her able to open her mouth so wide her upper and lowers were in an almost straight line. Love peck. I'll snap a pic if you're really curious.

It's amazing how varied the teeth sets are among the various pythons in pattern, shape, alignment and proportional size.
