    Holy Mother Of God
Okay so a few months ago I started a mealworm colony, they grew up into beetles and I was waiting for some babies but they never came.
It didn't bother me, though, I thought the beetles were cool so I kept them until they died recently.
Well I was organizing stuff, and I set the tuppaware outside on the porch for me to dump out later and I totally forgot about it.
Today my father went to do it, and he came inside and told me there were worms, LOTS of worms.
And it had rained, so I assumed the oatmeal just got wet, flies came around and laid their eggs and there were maggots there, but to my surprise there were hundreds of mealworms, I was scooping them up by the handful.

I'm assuming the eggs were too cold and when I put them out in the heat they hatched or something, but I'm seriously pleased. xD

I don't know if it was the heat or not but when I tried to breed some they took FOREVER! I didn't get tons of them but I did get some a good amount of time after the beetles died.
