What can special do besides making crystals

Here is my 2012 female Special that I plan to make crystals with. What else does special bring to your combos. There are a few pics I noticed on Worldofballpythons.net, but not a whole lot.

Does special just make things brighter? Could be hard to tell when mixed with Pastel etc.

My special kinda looks like a bright normal with gold tones.

That is one stunning snake.

Special x bumblebee is pretty sweet. Special x spider. Special x champ is my all-time favorite (even more than the crystal). I think crystals on their own are downright awesome. I got into them because I don't want to have to determine the difference between phantoms/mystics and mojaves :P:oops:! Specials definitely don't look like mojos lol :gj:

How easy are they to distinguish between normals though? I would hate to sell someone a $1k+ normal.

I've seen several specials in person. They're NICE. They're very busy patterned. Sometimes they have a funky head pattern. Once you see some in person, you will know that they don't look like normals. It takes a little time to be able to tell the difference in subtle morphs, but you'll get the hang of it :gj:. Kevin Stoltz, Tom Baker, Heather from Heather's Herps, and BHB all worth with specials/crystals. Contact any of these folks with your questions, and I'm sure they can tell you 10x more than what I can :gj:.
