    Simple question about RTB's
Don't have my RTB yet, because I plan on moving soon but was wondering if the RTB's from different countries are the same or similar? does their country of origin make a difference?

Boas come in many different localities: you have Colombians, dwarf boas like Nics and CAs, island boas, desert boas, Argentines, long and short tail boas, and then the "true red tail" boas such as the Peruvians, Guyanas, and Surinames, etc. Here's a great site that better explains all the different kinds: http://www.riobravoreptiles.com/index.htm

    Yes!
Study up on them is the best advice. Check out the site Daybreaker mentioned. Rio Bravo
Cental American boas don't get as big, but columbian BCI can be calmer.
Get a boa! They are awesome!

I have a BCI and love him to pieces! Definately would recommend a boa. Their personalities are so different than bps, very mellow, love being out.

I want a boa and can tell you this. Buy THE COMPLETE BOA CONSTRICTOR by Vincent Russo. It's a great book. The Rio Bravo page is also a good source! You will have a lot to choose from. Male, female BCC, BCI, dwarfs, morphs. The list goes on. I am dead set on getting one.
