Question about heat rope, and using a thermostat
Hey, i just bought a used animal plastics 7 tub 32q rack and was wondering if anyone has used a thermostat for 3" heat tape and heat rope off of 1 probe? My herpstat can hold 500w and i know the tape is only about 175 watts but im not sure on the heat rope. Any help much appreciated

Not recommended unless you want a huge discrepancy in temperature, you can control more then a rack with one t-stat however they should have the same type of heat source.

In this case you need to either have an herpstat 2 which controlled two different environment or have a t-stat for each rack since they have very difference heat source.
