    New BP owner in love!
Feel free to laugh at the newbie, but my sweet little two month old female normal did the cutest thing tonight. We've had her for a month now and have gradually been handling her more. This evening when I opened her enclosure, she crawled right up her branch and onto my hand for the evening cuddle. I tried not to have overly high expectations for her as a family pet, but our little Millie has turned out to be amazingly calm and friendly. I've seen the threads about being bit by BPs, but how about the opposite? How many of you have snakes that seem to enjoy being handled?

Cuddles seems to like it. But I never know what is going through that snake brain of hers. Congrats and welcome to the new addiction.

I've had my first ball for two months now and I have had the same moments. They are cute and I always feel so lame. Mine is typical and loves his hides but when I come into the room he comes to the front of his tank. I take the lid off and he wraps around my arm. It's awesome! :)

My Bp will leave his hides and press up against the sliding glass doors if he hears me walking around the room :3

So my odds, out of 7 bps, two will climb out to me when I open the tub. I have a hunch that my newest addition may be like that too, because he behaves exactly the same as my bumblebee, and she is an absolute doll. That is yet to be determined as he is brand new. I have a CL rescue, who would contentedly stay in is hide every moment of his life, but also is never really grumpy. One male who is, meh, ok, your gonna handle me, what ever, one female who depends on her mood if she tolerates handling or tags, and a female who is getting better at being handled, but still likes to hiss sometimes. They all have different personalities. I don't know how much has to do with getting them young, of where they come from and how they are treated/handled as babies. With the exception of one adult, my nicest, mellowest, snakes, I have had from wee babes.
They are goofy sweet little creatures, who knows, but I love them! Congrats, and welcome to the addiction!
