    Should I get a blood python?
    Im pretty experienced in snakes been doing it for about three years now and I was wondering if getting a baby blood python would be a good idea? Im looking to expand my collection so do you guys have any advice should i get one? Why or why not? Thanks guys!

    Bloods are great. Big, beautiful, a range of personalities from puppy-docile to spunky and willing to stand their ground. Brongersmai all the way :D

    They are incredibly rewarding snakes to keep. That said, I'd definitely recommend checking them out in person before making a commitment so that you have a realistic expectation of what these snakes are like. Are you involved in a herp society of any sort?

    I have a pet blood (Brongersmai) and she is a doll! I got her specifically because the original owner said she wasn't aggressive and she has been a dream. I got to see her before I bought her to check out her temperament. She is as calm as my calmest balls and I never hesitate to pick her up out of her tub. So different from balls but I am definitely in love!
