    Help with photo gallery
hi. i have some questions about snake feeding. the person i got my baby ball from said he was eating a large mouse once a week. i dont know when he was last fed so when should i feed him? also i was wondering... how do you feed it? sorry if thats a dumb question but do you like dangle it by its tail? or set it in his tank. i also heard that its a good idea to feed it in a seperate enclosure.

I dangle the mouse by the tail right in front of the snakes head. It works everytime.

Well, I would personally try to offer it to him today if he doesn't look that shy. If he doesn't take it today, leave him alone for another couple weeks then try again.

Be sure to use tongs or something similar to dangle the mouse. If you use your hand, the snake could grab your fingers by mistake...and that wouldn't be any fun for either of you! :)

Make sure the mouse is warmed up to give the impression of having body heat, if he doesnt accept the food right away set it down next to him and turn off the lights for a few hours(make sure you secure his cage so he doesnt get out) chances are he will eat it then if he was shy to eat in front of you. If he still doesnt go for it do what Jennifer said and leave him be for a week or two than try again.
