    Feeding Time
I'm just warming up some mice for the serpents. One is 771 g and the other 399 g. Is it OK to feed them 2 f/t jumbo 50g mice a piece?

Just one is plenty for the 399g BP. 100g is really more than necessary for the 771g one, too. Why not switch to small rats (50-80g)?

They've always been mousers and I don't want to starve them out because I just got them and are underweight. I'm going to mouse them all the way to breeding weight and then after breeding their going to switch.

I see what you're saying. In that case, I definitely would only give them one of those mice, if they are underfed, so you don't overload them. If you want, you can feed on a 4-5 day schedule, so they get more calories but not quite as big a meal in one sitting as 100g in mice.

Add: On the other hand, a starving BP could be more likely to accept a rat than a well-fed one. Just a thought, but your plan works, too. :)

After they breed they'll be starving.
