So I got a friend interested in snakes, made him take a verbal survey, and he decided on a cornsnake :)
    Heh, makes me happy!

    Feels good hunh? :D

I had a 4 or 5 year old walk up to me at a show that wanted a tortoise and asked me if I would talk to his parents to teach them about it. After about 45 minutes of discussion with a 4/5 year old and his parents they walked away with a little Hermann Tortoise. Makes ya feel all warm inside! Haha.

I always love that feeling! My old roommate who used to be terrified of snakes (we're talking deathly afraid here) finally came around to mine and then tried to buy them all off me 0.o He ended up with one of my Nicaraguan Boas lol.

Yep, it's a great feeling! :) That's why I do pet consultations as a 'serious hobby'. I love being able to help others figure out the best companion animal that will fit their lifestyle. I also enjoy being able to help new pet owners find the good information on their animals (like here), and find the best places to get supplies for them. I like to think I'm helping at least one more animal to live a comfortable and healthy life. :) And helping one more person shed the mantle of ignorance and fear to understand nature a bit better.
