Eye-shedding issue

I'm a first-time owner and my BP shed a few days ago for the first time. It wasn't a great shed, multiple pieces, but he's now clear everywhere except his eyes, I thought I could see a little bit there but it was such a small amount I wasn't too worried. Now today, one eye looks worse and definitely still has some skin over it. What do I do?

Ps....I understand the bad shed is due to humidity levels and I'm working on that issue.

Don't do anything. You could do more damage than good, to the eye. Correct your humidity issues, and it should come off next shed.

However: if it does not come off with the next shed, my vet recommended some stuff that softens cuticles on fingernails that is 100% natural oils and non-toxic to reptiles. I applied 1 drop per day to the affected eye with a q-tip until it came off; there were actually several layers that came off in 4 days. (rescued ball python had retained eye caps when I got her). Her eyes are bright and clear now, and she isn't as head shy as she used to be!

leave it be just correct the root issue and time.

If you hear the pillow case method be aware that some cotton weaves (high thread count) can become air tight when wet. I would never suggest this method at all. I have a good friend whom is a vet tech and she has seen suffocated snakes from pillow cases more than a few times.
