I read through that Fauna BOI thread on the RP issue and from the info listed it was only the mice that were infected, the rats tested negative. Though I'd read through it and come to your own conclusions: I'll still order from RP.

Besides that, I ordered from Layne Labs recently and got really nice mediums and other feeders at a good price. I'd check into them: got my order in only 2 days after they shipped too.

I've heard about them a lot, but that's also probably because they're 20 minutes from where I live.

I've never actually used them for mice, but I do have BP from them.

I order from loxahatchee rodents. They have GREAT customer service. My order will be arriving Thursday, so I can't comment on how they are packaged and such, but other members on here say they are very fresh and vacuum-sealed to prevent freezer burn. I used to use Rodent Pro and they just stick theirs in a bag.

What about buying live, then killing for the freezer?

You could do that if you wanted. But I know mice from the petstore go for over a $1 a mouse when you can bulk order them for under $0.50 a mouse.
