Completed his shed, but missing scales? And will he EVER poop?
So my little month old BP just finished his first shed since I've had him (I've only had him two weeks!) and all went smoothly. His eyecaps shed and it was all in one piece. However, after checking him out this morning to make sure all went well, I noticed that it seems that two scales are completely missing on his back now. It's just a little white spot. Is this something to worry about? I'm not sure what would have caused it; I only handled him to re-wet his humid hides, and all he did was sit in his hides. Also, there are a few scales here and there that look like they didn't shed; I've read not to worry about this, as long as it's not all the way around his body (which it's not). So those are okay?
Also, I've had him for two weeks, and he's eaten three times with me. He's scheduled to eat again tomorrow, but he hasn't pooped. A few days after I got him, he left some urate in his enclosure, but other than that, nothing. Should I be worried? His food items are a little smaller than he is wide, so he's being fed every Saturday and Tuesday at this point, but he didn't eat on Tuesday due to his shed.
Thanks again!

That really isn't much to worry about in my opinion. I have seen it on some of my snakes already. Perhaps you could try feeding rat pups to your snake. Young snakes do not poop very much because their bodies are absorbing all of the nutrients from their prey item. What kind of prey are you currently feeding the snake?

I feed him f/t small adult mice currently. They were feeding him live hoppers/small adults when I bought him. The mice I have and that he is currently eating are just barely "too small" for him.
Good, I'm glad it's nothing to be worried about! And it's okay for me to remain on a feeding schedule with him then? He's pretty active right now, so I'm sure he would love to be fed tomorrow.
Thanks!

Yes it is just fine to keep him on a schedule.
