Somewhat Comical yet Sad Story of a Loose Ball Python

Comical thanks to the talented author, sad because of how ignorant people can be (both the individual that released it and the well meaning individual that wanted to kill it).

I don't know where people get this ideas >_> my grandmother was shocked our new Bp is eating small rats . She was like, oh those must be too big :p

I wish that ignorant people would go out and just get educated. You have a vast wealth of knowledge called the Internet and it is free at the library.

Best part of that was the quote about the snakes migrating north from the everglades. The snake must of smelled those delicious hot dogs all the way from south Florida!

Ugh... that was so disturbingly typical. I am SO glad the officer knew what he was looking at, as I'm sick and tired of BPs being called Burms or Retics and seen as something that could eat a creature (like a weiner dog) that would most likely end up eating IT! I'm also really glad that one neighbor took it in...though I really hope he does himself some serious research and doesn't end up like most snake owners who just put the snake in a glass tank on some weird bedding with stick-on gauges, a heat lamp, and either 1 half log or no hides at all. SIGH.

Ok, rant over. It's a major peeve of mine... :)
