    New addition: Mites!
So we finally got the dreaded mites... I know its not the end of the world but what a freakin pain in the butt huh? Everyone has gotten larger bowls for soaking, tubs cleaned, and new houses that are easy to sterilize. We are still waiting for PAM to come in the mail. Any temporary relief remedies you can suggest?

Soak them 2 times a day in warm water (water temp in the mid 80's) with a drop of dawn dish soap in it.

I do believe you can actually purchase NIT at the drug store in place of PAM. But since you've ordered PAM already maybe pick up some mite off at a pet store for temporary relief. Just remember to use the PAM in a well ventilated area and make sure it is completely dry before putting your snakes back in their enclosures. That stuff causes kidney failure.

I'm sorry if this is insensitive, but the title made me LOL :P... good luck with those devilish parasites though :gj:! I haven't had an experience with them (knock on wood), but they sound relatively simple to get rid of. I'm sure you'll handle 'em!

Im glad it was supposed to ;)

And I am not to concerned about it, its mostly a pain more then anything else. Only three of my snakes appear to be effected (though we will be treating everyone the same)... As for soaking I was able to soak two of my guys who have it worst but my borneo is too nervous.. I have upped the size of his water bowl so he can soak himself.

I will say I didnt want to get water everywhere so I picked up my SSTP in a towel and he poked his head out.. I think it might have been the cutest thing in the world.. well right behind the time our 4 week old puppies got fleas and we had to bathe them.. hehehe they were so sad.
