Temps for keeping hatchlings in incubator

We have our first clutch and the last hatchling is out of the egg. We plan to keep them in the incubator while waiting for them to shed and setting up the hatchling rack. Should the temperature be lowered from the 89 degrees we were incubating at?

I hatched out my 1st clutch this past season. I left the thermostat exactly where it was the whole time during incubation and had no problems.

I did move the babies into a clean tub with moist paper towels and a water bowl till they had their 1st shed. Then they went to their own tubs on the rack.

I leave the temp on the incubator alone. At any one time, I may have new eggs being put in, babies waiting to shed, or eggs about to pip. The temperature in the incubator stays constant from when the eggs go in, until the snakes come out after their first shed.

Thank you for the responses. I will keep the temps where they are. We did move them into a clean tub with fresh damp paper towel and a short heavy glass full of water just to keep the humidity up. I suppose they can drink from that. Do they also need a small soaking dish or should I just mist them everyday?

If you have them on a damp paper towel and a water bowl, they should be fine. That is assuming your incubator has a good seal.
