Stacked Cages
So... In absence of the 11 to 15 thousand dollars that I'd like to have to spend on this new addiction of mine, I decided to start a little bit smaller and just get used to having a snake around full-time. Yesterday, I bought a 30-gallon Zilla glass-sided cage. What I'm wondering is if anyone has some pictures of where they'd stacked these type of cages on top of one another and if so how it was done. Ultimately, I want to buy an ARS rack for my adults and a Vision for my little ones, but I'd also like to have a few snakes on display so that if folks come over they're not all freaked out by the fact that I've got multiple snakes in little boxes, wondering if I'm treating them improperly or if I'm just some sort of a demented freak. I guess my biggest concern is the UBH from the top cage affecting the temps of the bottom one. I definitely want to go with underbelly heat though. I'm assuming just weaving some flex-watt underneath the cage would work sufficiently? Obviously I don't want to cause a fire though and I'd really really like my snakes to be happy, so, yeah. Advise wanted, pictures much appreciate for inspirational purposes. Thanks.

If you were to buy xpvc cages, they are stackable. I don't know how you'd stack aquariums though.

Re: Stacked Cages
Don't know that you could or would really want to stack aquariums. Feeding and maintenance alone would be enough of a pain just thinking about. If you really wnat a stacked look or need to save the floor space, just run to home depot and get some 4'x2' garage sttyle shelving. Plenty heavy duty, UTH wont burn it (especially if regulated properly), and pending which you get kinda has a modern decor type fill to it.

Wow, could I have possibly had any more typos, misspellings, and misused words in that post. My appologies.
