    Pray For New Orleans
It might not be another Katrina but Isaac has still caused a levee to fall and flooding is pretty heavy it's some parts.

I remember this being a huge problem during/after katrina. (the levee's breaking causing flooding). Did none of the people in charge down there learn from Katrina?

Im not trying to start a fight. I DO feel bad for the people down there but not for the idiots in charge who apparently didnt change anything.

"Early reports from Isaac's effects were far different from the events that unfolded around Hurricane Katrina— which slammed the region seven years to the day and led to levee breaches and mass flooding of the city. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers rebuilt the levee and floodwall system in the New Orleans area to be much stronger at a cost of $14.45 billion."All reports are indicating the federal levees protecting the city of New Orleans are holding," he said."

"By early morning, officials in Plaquemines Parish said a storm surge overtopped a levee on the thinly populated east bank of the Mississippi River."

Call me cold or calloused, but I have absolutely no sympathy for them at all. I keep up on the weather and the word is there was almost no prep for Isaac at all. It isn't like they didn't see Isaac coming and if they couldn't learn from their mistakes with Katrina, well, then as far as I'm concerned they have this one coming. Just wait, before you know it they will start pointing fingers and blaming everyone ELSE but themselves for not being prepared.

I AGREE 100%. They know what has happened in the not to distant past and they know what can possibly happen now.
