Thanks for y'alls help. I just got the little guy to eat on Sunday. He won't touch the frozen / thawed so I'm hoping with the live mice he'll start growing here soon.

Be careful with mice! I have a male pastel that wouldnt take frozen so i gave him live mice so he would at least get food in his belly. He is STILL eating live mice 6 years later! He will not eat or even show interest in anything else. My suggestion would be to keep trying frozen for a while. If no luck then try fresh killed rats.

I guess if you dont mind getting live food every week then it wont really matter.

    Good Luck!

My dad and I have already talked about this weekend setting up an enclosure to keep mice in so we're not driving downtown every week to get mice. We've attempted frozen mice a couple of times and Slytherin ( my snake) showed absolutely no interest. He'd mentioned we should keep trying the frozen mice every now and then to see of he'll eat them. But for now live seems to be the preferred food source for the snake.
