Suggestions for a couple more morphs!!
What's up everyone! New to BP.net. First thread. Ok so here's what I got. I have a female spider and male super pastel. I am currently in the process of upgrading enclosures, but I would like to get couple more morphs before I try to start breeding. What other morphs would you suggest to go with these two? Two more females or another male and another female? I am looking into butters, pinstripes, mojaves , and/or maybe some recessives to cross breed idk. I'm doin a whole lot of research, but I would like to know from you all that have bred balls and know a little more than I do. Complete noob to breeding. I plan to get racks setup prior to breeding. Any input at all would be greatly appreciated!

So stick with more females? Why a lesser pinstripe?

I would get a female cinnamon so that you could break into all the pastel and cinny combos and I would also get a female VPI axanthic, as axanthic pastels, bees and killers are probably my favorite morph combos.

IF you want to stick with buying single morphs for now....I would get a female lesser and a female black pastel. Two of my favorites. You really can't go wrong with those or the double genes they could make with the male super pastel.

need more females for your super pastel male. pastel goes great with just about everything. so go on world of ball pythons and look at the big morph list. this is the toy book for us ball python breeders. see what you like that has pastel in it. this will help you decide what you need to get. good luck don

All of these have been really good suggestions. I've been goin and forth between this and the genetic wizard. Here's what I'm thinking. What if I got a male pinstripe and female butter to go with these two? I should've said that I'm really fascinated by the brighter colors. As well as the spider pattern. I would get a lesser pin but it's just not in budget. I'm looking to spend no more than 5-600 on my next two each.

Thanks again everyone for the suggestions.

I agree with the female black pastel. One of my favorite morphs, they make some really cool combos.

    If it was me....

I'd get a male pinstripe to go with your female spider.

Get whatever the heck you feel like to go with that super pastel...

But the thing I would really get if I were you, maybe three or four normals or normal hets to go with your super pastel boy.

If you're going to breed, you've gotta' have stock. Pastels are something everybody wants/needs and you'll get 'em from that super x normal.
