    Celebrating 5 years....
    IN VEGAS!!

    Hello everyone,

Some of you know me, still the newb. However, much of you don't know about me. Hi, I'm Andrew. From Canada.

My wife and I, are going to Vegas this weekend Thur-Sunday. It will be our second visit. Our 1st visit was for our wedding on 7/7/7.

So, we finally got a chance to go back, a little after the actual anniversary, but better late than never.

My question is, is there any reptile place to check out while there, or any "local hot spots" but safe for tourists like us? We didn't really get to really get the Vegas experience. Due to our 26 guests, and short time frame, as our first night we arrived at 10:30pm thursday, then had to wait for the cab, then hustle to down town (to the court building) to try and obtain our certificate to make sure we are able to actually get married. However, the line up was INSANE, and this was 11:45pm. So, since we were unable to get it that night. I said we had to come back early. We got up at 5:30am, took a cab back (second $40+) cab rides...lol. Got to the building at around 6:45am, and were 12th in line....:O I think the office opened at 8am, or 8:30. When we finished the paper work, we walked out, and the line up was HUGE!!

Anyways, we got married on a golf course just off the 18th. Here are some pics. I would love to hear some Vegas stories, you know, the ones you can share.
    Thanks Everyone.

We now have 2 children. One 4 year old boy, and one 11 month old girl.

Well, didn't expect the lack of interest here, however lol...I booked a night at Steak - Gordon Ramsey's restaurant. We are big fans of his shows, and since UFC is cancelled, we are having a great dinner out.

Anyways, thanks again for checking in. :gj:

I heard about the UFC thing. What a bummer! That's so brutal. But congrats on getting into the restaurant! I would definitely love to hear feedback from you guys on how it was.

Have a great time! I wish I knew places to suggest for you. Alas, I am Canadian too and that region is unfamiliar to me

Yeah, we are fairly bummed about that being cancelled. My friend mentioned another place to eat, called Bobby Flay's. He said best $200 he ever spent on food. Caesar's apparently.

We Canadian's don't have anything crazy like Vegas to go to, in regards to what they have.

Bobby Flay's also pretty good. I find his stuff, at least on his cooking show, lands in the 'spicier' side of thing. But apparently it's really good too. I love trying new restaurants, so I support your friend's suggestion, haha.

Yeah we don't have much. My boyfriend is helping plan the stag of his best friend and there's no place here that everyone could really agree on. Then they voted for Vegas and it was the only thing everyone was excited to try. Haha.

Guess it all works out one way or another.

Psh! At least we can drink at 18 instad of waiting for 21 to hit up Vegas :gj:!

Ironically, I don't drink, but I'd count that as a +1 for Canada.

And free healthcare, for those nights where it just gets too crazy and people end up doing something stupid
