    The new guy.....
    Hey Gang,

So I guess I'll tell you a little about myself, my name is Jason, but you can call me J. I'm a 29 year old firefighter/emt (career & volunteer) in Chester County PA, which is about 45 miles West of Philadelphia. I'm very passionate about my hobbies which include sleight of hand magic, which I've been into since I was around 7 years old. Photography which if your interested you can check out some of my pics by going on Facebook and searching (Mysticman Photography), if you like what you see please feel free to "like" the page, the more likes the better! :)

I've been interested in and collected reptiles my entire life, mostly turtles of various species. Something that you might find comical is that until last year, I've always been DEATHLY afraid of snakes! :O Then while going through some personal problems I decided that I was sick and tired of this phobia and that the only way to beat it was to face it straight on. So I went down to my local pet shop, checked out the snakes and after thinking it over during dinner, went BACK that very night and bought my first ball python. Since that time, I've attended quite a few reptile shows, have learned as much as I could from where ever I could about snakes and I'm a local at all the pet stores in my area that deals with snakes. Currently my snake collection is at "4' with my newest addition being less then a week old (since I got it). Currently I have 2 ball pythons which I'll be breeding this coming season, a black mexican king snake and a dumeril boa. I've also been in talks with a breeder friend of mine who in a few weeks, I'll be picking up a pair of 100% hets, and more then likely a few others (I'm thinking pastels and vanillas) which I'll also be breeding NEXT season. :D

Erm, I'm also VERY into music of all types, with my favorites being metal, rock and country, my Ipod along with my camera really are extensions of me. I also enjoy playing video games (mostly Xbox) and besides all that, I have 1 son who just turned 7 years old whom is my entire universe. I'm also proud to say that not only is he my best pal, but he also is my tag-along buddy at all the reptile shows and recently concerts that I go too.

So that gives you a little insight into who I am, I'm glad to be here since I've heard nothing but great things about this site, and I really hope that I can make some really good friends and learn alot.

    Thanks.

    J

Dude you must be like within a short drive south of dillsburg?

My grandparents lived in Dillsburg til 2years ago when my grandfather died so my grandma moved up here.

I know the dillsburg/carlisle/mechanicsburg area and harrisburg. And we went to visit gettysburg battlefield one summer there. It was july and it was easily over 100degrees. I dont think any of us even got out of the van lmao.

Thanks Vypyrz, I got a DEAL on my Dum. I couldn't pass him up. ;)

Mike - No I'm not sure where that is, I'm closer to Philadelphia (45 minutes West of), sort of smack in between Philly and Harrisburg.
I don't blame ya, I took a field trip in school to the battlefields, yuck humidity!
